Blood donors will be given a variety of prizes for participating in Saturday's blood drive at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.
The American Red Cross and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton will hold a blood drive on Saturday, June 30, from 9 to 2 p.m. The blood drive is being held in the BID-Milton’s Nangeroni Center in an effort to increase the community’s blood supply. “Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and every pint donated could save up to three lives,” according to Laureane Marquez from BID-Milton. For their life-saving donation, each participant will receive several prizes. Donors will be given a free 24-pack of Nice! Spring Water from Walgreens, a movie pass and a Red Sox t-shirt.
