The Milton High School Wildcats and Braintree High Wamps first met on the Thanksgiving Day gridiron in 1920. Outside of breaks from 1923 to 1930 and in 1936 and 1940, the game has been a staple in both communities for 83 meetings. Though the Wildcats are on a three-game losing slide, Milton leads the series with a record of 42-38-1. The rivalry will be rekindled on Thursday, November 22, at 10 a.m. on Braintree High School.
