Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton is now accepting applications for its annual Community Health Walk grant program. This annual walk, planned for September 29, raises funds for local community health programs and projects for up to $1,500. “Many local non-profits struggle to fund even the smallest programs,” said hospital President Joseph Morrissey. “The funds generated by our Community Health Walk have had a significant impact in helping to launch wellness initiatives that, in turn, have a positive impact on the health of our local community.” An application for funding may be downloaded from the hospital’s website atwww.bidmilton.org/walk2012.
