Dropkick Murphys Score 'Boston's Finest,' A New Reality TV Show Airing Tonight
"Boston's Finest" premieres tonight, with theme song "Out of Our Heads"performed by the Dropkick Murphys.
The Dropkick Murphy's, the East Milton, Ma. Irish punk rock band whose song "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" was featured in the movie "The Departed," will now provide the theme song for "Boston's Finest," a new reality TV show. "Our friend Donnie Wahlberg has created the great new TV show called Boston's Finest. We've seen it...it's amazing and does Boston proud unlike so many other current shows being shot in the city," posted the band on its Facebook Page. "He asked us to make our new song 'Out Of Our Heads' the theme song. The show premieres ... Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 9pm EST on TNT." Check out the song here.
