Yoga Comes to Milton Town Green Sunday
The Milton Yoga Foundation, Front Line Yoga and the Jimmy Fund will host Yoga on the Milton Town Green on September 9.
On a typical Sunday afternoon, the Baron Hugo Gazebo and the green in front of Town Hall are quiet and empty. This Sunday, the Town Green will be much more occupied, but similarly hushed. Milton Yoga will host Yoga on the Milton Town Green Sunday, September 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. The free community event will raise money the Jimmy Fund and the Milton Yoga Foundation while collecting toiletries and clothing for Front Line Yoga. Milton Yoga owner Sean McCarthy, who launched the Milton Yoga Foundation in January, organized the event with a student who works at the Jimmy Fund. He also brought in Front Line Yoga founder Danny Dwyer, who went from being homeless in Boston to collecting items and teaching yoga to people in a similar situation. “We …
