Annual Milton Monster Dash Announces Art Contest

Milton children can submit Halloween-themed shirt designs for the Monster Dash.

The 14th annual Milton Monster Dash takes place Sunday, October 28, 2012.  This year’s race T-shirt will feature a new design chosen from drawings submitted by children.   Children who live in or attend school in Milton are eligible to participate in the contest. Entries should feature a Halloween theme, since the race encourages runners and attendees to arrive in costume. The contest runs through Wednesday, October 10. The Milton Monster Dash is organized by the Milton Foundation for Education, with proceeds devoted to the support of science programs for students in grades  K through 5.  The race is held in memory of Sam Cichello, a Tucker school elementary student who died following a playground accident in 1999. Monster Dash Moved to November 6

The Milton Foundation for Education Monster Dash has be rescheduled for Sunday, November 6, after last weekend's inclement weather.

The following is the rescheduling announcement for the 13th Annual Monster Dash from event co-chairs Patti Elliott and Denise Queally. The Milton Foundation for Education (MFE) hopes you had a very Happy Halloween, but it's not quite time to put away your costumes just yet. Please join us this Sunday, November 6, at Cunningham Park from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for MFE's 13th Annual Monster Dash. This important community event, organized in loving memory of Sam Cichello, raises much needed funds for science enrichment initiatives in all four elementary schools in Milton. Denise Queally and Patti Elliott are co-chairs of the Milton Monster Dash, a 5k race and fun run scheduled for Sunday, October 30 at Cunningham Park. The Monster Dash is a fundraising event through the Milton Foundation for Education in memory of Sam Cichello, a Tucker student who died in 1999. Milton Monster Dash Set for October 30

The Monster Dash, which raises money for hands-on science education in the Milton Public Schools in honor of Sam Cichello, is in its 13th year.

The 13th annual Milton Monster Dash takes place on Sunday, October 30, at 1 p.m. at Cunningham Park. The annual fun run and walk, which raises funds to benefit science education in the Milton Public Schools, offers a 5K course, Halloween costume parade and activities for children and families.
