Classic and current Milton Police vehicles like a 1970s cruiser, a MPD horse-drawn sleigh and modern day cars were on display Wednesday. Other municipalities and police departments also brought vehicles and equipment. The …

VIDEO: Patch Editor Participates in K9 Demonstration

The National Night Out at the Milton Police Department featured a K9 Demonstration, which included a cameo from Milton Patch Editor Adam Roberts.

During the National Night Out event at the Milton Police Station on Wednesday, August 3, officers from Milton, Bellingham and the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office provided a K9 Unit demonstration. Milton Police Prepare for National Night Out

The Milton Police Department's annual community event, the National Night Out, is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3.

Throughout the year there are hallmark community events in Milton. Celebrate Milton highlights the fall and the summer begins with the Memorial Day observance. For the past four consecutive years, and six years at the end of the 1990s, the National Night Out at the Milton Police Department has been an August staple. The National Night Out event will be held at the Milton Police Headquarters, 40 Highland St., from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3. The free, family-friendly festivities include food, rides and kids’ activities. There will also be police equipment, headquarters’ tours and a K9 demonstration. Last year’s event was very well attended and this year’s National Night Out promises to be another successful evening.
