Residents and lawmakers have long discussed the intersections of Brush Hill Road and Neponset Valley Parkway and Neponset Valley Parkway and Milton Street. Interest groups and legislators have proposed short and long term changes to the area to improve safety, while others have opposed overhauling the intersection. Milton’s Traffic Commission and the Board of Selectmen have found that making changes in the area is slightly more complicated than in other parts of town because some of the roads are state-owned and any adjustments would have an impact on Boston residents.
