Glover School Actress Takes Stage at Riverside Theatre Works

Caitlin Caulfield, a Glover Elementary School student, will play “Pepper” in “Annie” this weekend.

A Glover School fifth grader will be on stage at Riverside Theatre Works, 45 Fairmount Avenue, Hyde Park, for the second weekend as “Pepper” in the theatre’s staging of Annie. Annie, which opened last weekend, is Caitlin Caulfield’s fourth production at Riverside Theatre Works. She has appeared in the Little Mermaid Jr., Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Annie Jr. and Suessical Jr. Additionally, Caitlin has performed in several Glover Musical Revues and is a member of the Boston City Singers and Company R. She also participates in jazz, tap and hip hop dance classes. Performances will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 7, and Saturday, December 8, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 9. Milton Songwriter Celebrates Second Album with Hyde Park Performance

Milton resident Kiri Cormack will debut her second album, Crash EP, Saturday, July 30, with a CD Release Party at Riverside Theatre Works in Hyde Park.

A formal yet fun, low-key atmosphere is the intended ambiance for Kiri Cormack’s CD Release Party on Saturday, July 30, culminating all of  Cormack’s work as an artist so far and matching her bubbly, soulful style. The personable 21-year-old comes from a creative background and, as a result, has been involved with music for the majority of her life. Cormack remembers always singing with her mother, Karen, and started taking piano lessons at a young age while she attended Tucker Elementary School. “I would be forced to practice, but I’d always make up my own songs,” laughed Cormack. From innocent child’s play blossomed a genuine passion for song writing and Cormack wrote her first song, “Butterfly Kisses," during her freshman year at Milton…
