Milton Police Department Comments on Newtown Shooting
With flags at half mast, the town of Milton is remembering the lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
The people of Newtown, Conn., the site of Friday’s school shooting that left 27 people dead, including 20 children, are on the minds of many Americans. Milton is no exception with flags at half mast and Milton officials releasing statements of condolence. The following statement was posted on the Milton Police Department’s Facebook page on Friday evening. “Tonight, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and citizens of Newtown Conn. For them, this morning began just as it did for each of us. It ended in a manner that no one will ever forget.
