St. Agatha's Plans Special Mass for Sisters of Charity
The 125th anniversary celebration for Sisters of Charity, Halifax will take place at St. Agatha's Church on November 18.
This year the Sisters of Charity, Halifax celebrate 125 Years of Faithful Service in the Archdiocese of Boston. In gratitude to God for the gift of these years, a special Mass is being held on Sunday, November 18th, 2 p.m. at St. Agatha’s Church in Milton. Founded by Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the ministry of the Sisters of Charity in the Boston Archdiocese has made a profound difference in the lives of countless women, men and children, especially the poor, the suffering and the marginalized. In Boston and in surrounding communities the work of the Sisters of Charity spans diverse aspects in the field of education, parish and hospital ministry, social services and elder care in numerous agencies and learning centers.
