Fifth Annual Walkathon to Benefit MHS Sports and Clubs
The Milton High School Walkathon is scheduled for February 9.
The 2013 Milton High School 5th Annual Walkathon is being held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Copeland Field House. The theme of the Walkathon is 2013 MHS Walkathon: All in for sports and clubs. Funds raised will be utilized for MHS sports and clubs in the spring and fall of 2013. The Walkathon is an annual event intended to provide financial support to fill the gap between money provided for the sports and clubs programs in the Milton school budget and operational expenses. The school budget addresses about 1/3 of the operating costs of the sports and club programs; another 1/3 is generated in user fees and gate receipts and the remaining 1/3 must be raised through volunteer fundraising.
