This week from Monday through Friday, Milton DPW will collect yard waste.
Yard waste collection starts Monday, April 8 and ends Friday, April 12. The Town of Milton is requesting that all yard waste be placed into barrels or paper leaf bags. No plastic bags will be accepted. Label "Yard Waste" on the barrels. For more details check out the yard waste collection guidelines here.
The Town of Milton will collect yard waste next week.
The final yard waste collection of the year will be the week of December 10 to December 14. Questions about the pickup can be directed to the DPW Trash Line at 617-898-4900. Below are some simple guidelines from the Milton DPW.
Remaining yard waste from the December 2 collection will be picked up on December 7. The final yard waste collection of the year is set for next week.
Due to abnormally high yard waste volume on Friday, December 2, the Town of Milton will hold an extra collection for those residences on Wednesday, December 7. Waste Management, the town’s yard waste vendor, will deploy several extra trucks on Wednesday to pick up all uncollected items from last Friday’s routes. In a notice on townofmilton.org, residents are reminded that this pickup is for Friday routes only. Additional collections are scheduled for the week of December 12. Regular pickup will resume for Monday, December 12, through Friday, December 16. This will be the final yard waste collection of the year. All questions should be referred to the DPW at 617-898-4900.
