The Town of Milton was named number two on the CNN/Money Magazine 100 Best Places to Live.
While residents have known for generations, Milton is once again getting national recognition as a great place to live. Milton was named number two on the CNN/Money Magazine 2011 Best Places to Live in America. “I think it’s fantastic news for the town,” said Board of Selectmen Chair Robert Sweeney of Milton’s third, and highest, appearance on the list of 100 small American towns. The annual list recognizes towns below 50,000 people with a combination of fiscal strength, job opportunities and strong schools among other factors. Louisville, CO headlines the list followed by Milton and Solon, OH.
