Local Teens Arrests for Armed Robbery of Sneakers

Two teens were charged with armed robbery on Brook Road earlier this month.

A Milton resident and a Dorchester resident were arrested for holding another teen at gunpoint and stealing a pair of sneakers on Sunday, April 21. Juwan Gooding, 17, of Milton, and Ryan Gunter, 18, of Dorchester are both being charged with armed robbery after the incident. The pair arranged to meet an acquaintance and buy sneakers from him on Sunday. They used a starter pistol or BB gun to rob the individual of the shoes, according to Deputy Police Chief Charles Paris. Milton Police were called after 8 p.m. and the suspects were arrested.

Police Log: Attempted Break-in, Broken Car Window

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.  At 10:17 a.m. Thursday, a 911 caller reported an unknown party tried to gain access to a Magnolia Road residence. The suspect was described as a white male wearing a baseball cap and a brown shirt. He fled in the passenger seat of a gray Honda vehicle. Officers confirmed an attempted break-in. At 5:42 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported the rear window of her vehicle sustained damage on Chickatawbut Road. The operator was directed to State Police because the incident occurred in their jurisdiction.
