The following is a list of three adult fiction books, which were recently added to the Milton Public Library’s collection. The descriptions are from the Old Colony Library Network’s website. A welcome reception was held for new Milton Public Library Director Will Adamczyk on Sunday.
While Will Adamczyk took over the post as director of the Milton Public Library on January 1, the community officially welcomed him on Sunday, February 3, with a reception in the Keys Community Room. Before coming to Milton, Adamczyk served as Circulation Manager and Reader’s Advisor at the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy. He is also a Trustee for the Abington Public Library. Adamczyk replaced Phil McNulty, who moved on to a position in Newton.

The teen book club at the Milton Public Library will discuss "I Hunt Killers" next month.
The Milton Public Library’s teen book club has selected I Hunt Killers, a young adult novel about the son of a serial killer who’s trying desperately not to become his father, as its February pick. Jasper “Jazz” Dent has done everything he can to ignore what Dear Old Dad – also known as Billy Dent, one of the world’s most notorious serial killers- taught him, but when a dead body turns up in his small hometown, Jazz finds himself drawn to the investigation. Meet Will Adamczyk, the Milton Public Library’s new director as of January 1. The public is invited to a welcome reception on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Keys Community Room of the Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Avenue in Milton. Refreshments will be served and the event is sponsored by The Friends of the Milton Public Library. Before his Milton directorship, Mr. Adamczyk had been with the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy since 2003 as a Reference Librarian, Circulation Manager, and Readers’ Advisor. Before that he was the Youth Services/Reference Librarian in the Somerville Public Library in Massachusetts. Robin Tagliaferri will discuss her recent trip to China at the Milton Public Library on January 9.
On January 9, Robin Tagliaferri, executive director of the Forbes House Museum, will speak at the Milton Public Library about her recent trip to China. Refreshments will be served in the Keys Community Room and the presentation will begin at 7. Tagliaferri shared photos and stories from her trip with Patch when she returned.
