Kirby Jackson, Neighbor

Hi I'm Kirby Jackson, but you'll often find me going as Kirby Frederick. I'm 17 and live in Milton, Massachusetts but I'm from New Orleans. I left long before the storm, was living in Virginia when it happened, but my family is very close knit, so I knew my part of the city well and feel close to the city. My family, by God's good grace and mercy, lucked out in the storm. We weren't hit nearly as hard as we could've been. My grand-mother had a home out in the country, my nanny's house was already being rebuilt before the storm, so there was nothing there and my uncle's house was one block away from total destruction and my other uncle missed the flooding
