  I love Slice. Even tho because I'm raw vegan mostly I cant eat most of what is on the menu, I love to read the menu as though it were a travel brochure to some exotic location. Yesterday I had lunch there with a friend and ordered their Caesar. "Without animals, please." And what arrived was the most enormous plate of greens you could imagine. As we talked about the most amazing things, partly because some friends were also at the restaurant and stopped at our table to catch up, gradually I worked my way through the entire plate of romaine and a few crunchy croutons. When I finished, I had eaten more salad than many people eat in a week, yet I felt lighter than air because there was no heavy Caesar dressing to weigh me down. The salad had been dressed in a very minimal, light coating of Caesar, an unobtrusive dressing that let the full flavor of the romaine come through.
  So the food's good, your friends stop by, the check isn't as bad as it could be, and location at the end of Circuit Ave means parking won't be too much of a problem.
