Milton Native Sends Prayers to Boston from NHL Ice

Keith Yandle, a Milton native who plays for the Phoenix Coyotes, wrote "Pray for Boston" on his skate during his team's NHL game Monday.

While Milton native Keith Yandle was far from the Boston Marathon Monday, his thoughts were in New England when he laced up his skates as a member of the Phoenix Coyotes.

The 26-year-old defenseman wrote "Pray for Boston" on his skate for the Coyotes home games against the San Jose Sharks on Monday night.

The team also observed a moment of silence before the game to recognize the three people who lost their lives and over 150 more who were injured at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
